[back of the menu]

The back shifts to Mediterranean, mosaics, tiles, and organic forms that balance the front's expressiveness.

[practical use case]

The color palette draws from the vibrant, high-contrast hues of Mediterranean and Peruvian cultures. Amarillo honors San Francisco while celebrating cultural richness. Terracotta evokes the earth, pottery, and mountains. Azulito blends the Mediterranean Sea with the Bay's iconic 'Karl' fog. Rojo cereza grounds the identity, inspired by bold flora and textiles.

[flyer design]

A series of animated event flyers for La Old School, a music venue in Playa del Carmen. One flyer per night, seven artists across a full week.

The design system uses a torn paper edge to split each frame; event info on the left, a unique visual world on the right. Each piece was also delivered as a short video where the right-side graphic animates, creating tension between the static and the kinetic.
